Peter’s Smiling Sky

Grandma Stella shares a touching experience of visiting Peter’s grave, where the sun appeared as they approached and rain fell upon their departure, making her feel as though Peter was acknowledging their presence.

It is a grey, wet day. Matthew came to pick me up to go visit Peter. We thought it was going to be a quick visit. As we neared the cemetery, the sun began to shine. It’s as if Peter was smiling his big, bright smile and saying, “I’m so glad to see you!” We stayed a while, telling him tidbits of news. When we left, the sky darkened and it began to rain again.
